Jambalaya Shoppe VS. Pot & Paddle

So now that there are two different cajun food jambalaya shops here in town. The question is, which one do I prefer? That’s a tough question. Let’s discuss.

One Man’s Opinion
This is just my opinion folks. Put down the pitchforks.

The Food:

Honestly, I like Pot & Paddle more. Let me explain why. Whenever I went to the Jambalaya Shoppe, the jambalaya was okay, but didn’t really blow me away. The portions are bigger at the Paddle and I find that there jambalaya is less dry. On top of that, the Paddle offers these really good daily specials that I’ve gotten the last couple of times that I’ve been there. Not a bad deal,
if you ask me. Please don’t get me wrong, they’re both pretty good places to get a bite to eat, but I prefer Pot & Paddle.

The Dining Room

I’m not going to really put too much thought into this. I feel like Paddle’s is a nicer place to be because there’s more space. But the lighting in Shoppe is better. Both have their ups and down, but I prefer Paddle.

At the end of it all, I think I had a better time at Pot & Paddle. The service at both locations is similar. The food at Paddle is a little better. And the dining area is a little better at Paddle, but not by much. If I had to boil it down to my overall experience at both, I’d choose Pot & Paddle merely due to the food. Both are great places to get food though. Check them both out and make a choice for yourself.

So Pot & Paddle wins by a nose. But check out both and form your own opinion!
